TICKET SALES & CONCERT UPDATE

 CONCERT UPDATE

Hello Everyone,

Thank you so much for your prompt attention to our Costume Orders.  Your efforts were outstanding and made this process very smooth on our end.  We are in the process of checking our lists and checking them twice as our beautiful costumes for 2020 start to arrive.  

Due to the need to separate our concerts this year to ensure we are complying with COVID restrictions, we have also decided to stagger the sale dates of tickets.  Our first Concert goes on sale tomorrow at 9.30am and we can’t urge you enough to be quick to secure your tickets.  For families and friends the ticketing system will automatically allocate socially distanced seating so you will need to book together to sit together. All concert tickets for each show will be $30.  

For your convenience, I am supplying a list of which class is involved in which concert again and the date that tickets will go on sale so that you won’t miss out!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5th 

11am & 2pm- JUNIOR SCHOOL PRODUCTION “IT’S A WRAP!” This show will feature all students aged 8 years & U.  Our preschoolers will only perform in one show but all other students will dance in two shows.

REHEARSALS 

We had originally tentatively booked stagecraft rehearsals for the 14th & 15th November but due to Covid and end of school graduations we have decided to run our Stagecraft rehearsals during normal class times on Monday 30th November - Wednesday 2nd December.

We will rehearse our Ready Set Dance Students during Performance Rehearsals on Wednesday 2nd Dec to familiarise them with the stage.  

We have Thursday 3rd December booked for a tech rehearsal for “It’s A Wrap” and Friday 4th December booked for “All You Need is Love”.  We will advise closer to the date times and if this will be a dress rehearsal.  

PHOTOGRAPHY & DVD 

We are very fortunate to have the exceptional talents of Winkipop Media ( Sydney based and nationally acclaimed stage photographers) and PressPlay Productions capturing each of our shows through photos and videos.  PressPlay will send out an order form shortly and Winkipop photos will be available to view and order online after the shows.  

HAIR & MAKE UP 

All information about Hair & Make Up will be supplied closer to the event. The make up enhances your children’s gorgeous features under the lights and assists so they don’t look washed out but rather allows their expressions to pop on stage. 

 

We will post some additional information and tutorials for stage make up on the Facebook group in the lead up to the concert, as well as a list of hair style instructions.

BACKSTAGE.

Our number one aim is to make every child's concert experience an exciting and magical adventure, and a positive memory that they can treasure forever. This will be our 22nd year of putting on spectacular concerts and with many years of learning and experience we have developed a backstage management system that minimises stress for our students, and maximises efficiency and child safety. This year we will also be dealing with much smaller casts in each concert due to COVID. 

We will be utilising the Convention Centre as dressing room space to allow for social distancing and will have a team of volunteers to assist with supervision and changes. 

 A COVID SAFE CONCERT.

We take very seriously the responsibility to produce an event that is safe for our studio community, and we are working closely with Dubbo Regional Theatre to ensure that everything we do is within the current NSW Covid-safe restrictions and following recommended guidelines.
